Description
The Zayidi State in the Yemen had been in state of disorder bordering on anarchy from the mid-thirteenth century until 1507, when Imam Sharaf al-Din was elected. During his long reign, Sharaf al-Din would subdue rebellious elements within the polity while saving his state from repeated invasions from both the north and the south.Actions
